Buying a Car: More or Less Technology
Shane and Danielle are thinking about buying a car.
They are looking at a lot of different cars, so that they can find the right one.
They like all of the cars, but there is one thing they are not sure about.
They are not sure about how much technology they want.
This car has a touch screen.
And Danielle likes that kind of technology.
And it has a button to close the back, too.
But Shane likes working on his car.
When something goes wrong with his car, he often fixes it.
And cars with a lot of technology are very complicated.
There are many cords and that makes working on the car very difficult.
Shane likes the idea of buying an older truck,
… and then, he can work on the engine with less difficulty because there is less technology.
But, Danielle likes this car because of the technology. This car is very convenient for her.
Even starting the car is convenient.
And Shane likes to drive it.
So, even though the technology makes fixing the car more difficult, they decide to buy the car.
And they can both enjoy the technology.
