Dallas, TX — January 2026 — AIR Language, an educational platform designed to support multilingual learners through structured reading and language development, announced today the release of a new student-driven flashcard feature. The update allows students to create, manage, and revisit personalized flashcards directly within the AIR Language platform.
The new feature is designed to reinforce vocabulary acquisition, promote independent study habits, and support long-term language growth for multilingual learners.
“Vocabulary growth doesn’t happen through exposure alone,” said Kyle Larson, CEO of AIR Language and former secondary ML teacher. “Students need a way to capture language, revisit it, and use it over time. This feature gives them ownership of that process without adding work for teachers.”
Unlike standalone flashcard tools, AIR Language’s flashcards are embedded within students’ existing reading and language workflows. Students can create flashcards from classroom reading, independent practice, or reading conferences, ensuring that vocabulary study remains connected to authentic academic content.
A Major Win for Multilingual Learners
Student ownership: Learners generate their own vocabulary practice based on real reading and instruction.
Habit-building: Flashcards encourage repeated exposure and review without requiring additional assignments.
Instructional alignment: Vocabulary study remains connected to reading, assessment, and progress monitoring already taking place in AIR Language.
The release aligns with AIR Language’s broader focus on blending physical and digital tools to support language development, including reading conferences, student goal-setting, and structured independent practice.
The flashcard feature is now available to all AIR Language users.
