Riding the Bus
“Hey Jordan, the bus is leaving, so you and Francis should run! Hurry up!”
Jordan and Francis made the bus just in time!
“Thank you for calling, Franklin. We almost missed the bus!”“Yeah, the bus schedule is usually on time, but today it left early.”
“So Francis, what is there to do in New Orleans?” “Well, Shirley, there is a lot to do, but mostly, we want to go to the restaurants and eat. Do you have things you want to do?”
“We don’t really know. This is our first time traveling to New Orleans.” “Good. I love good food!”
“That looks like a wonderful restaurant!” “Let’s go when we get there.”
Often, people who ride buses have to change buses. Franklin is trying to find the next bus to switch onto.
Now they are getting off the bus…
…to get onto a different bus.
Franklin makes sure his son holds onto the rail. This is important when standing.
They see a lot of interesting things as they ride the bus.
Then they all get off the bus.
They are looking for the restaurant.
“It’s over there. Let’s go!”
