Inconvenience in a Small Town

There are many benefits for our family to live in a small town. One great benefit to living in a small town is all of the space we have to live on.

We lived in the city before, but we moved because we have a big family, and we have a lot of energy.

But moving to the country is not completely easy. We are having to adjust to this different way of life. For me, I am working from home, and that is different.

And working from home means I have two jobs: my work, and being a mom. These are hard jobs to do at the same time.

But even though I can stay home with my baby and work, life in the country is a lot less convenient than life in the city. One inconvenient thing is that delivery is slower. In the city, they delivered all my groceries in one day!

Another thing that is inconvenient is that grocery stores are farther away. I have to drive 20 minutes to get to the grocery store from my house. In the city, I walked to the grocery store.

An inconvenience about living in a small town is that restaurants are far away too. We have to drive more than 30 minutes to get to a restaurant. In the city, there were restaurants next door to our house!

One inconvenience that we didn’t think of was when the power goes out, we have to wait a long time for people to fix it. In the city, we didn’t have to wait at all.

Sometimes, we have to wait a whole week before they repair the power lines. In the city, they always fixed it the same day it went out!

But all of that inconvenience is worth it. We spend a lot more time together, and that makes us happy. In the city, our schedules were crazy.

We also live closer to my parents, so they can watch the baby more often. This is a really good thing. My parents lived so far away when we were in the city. They rarely watched the baby.

And when my parents watch the baby, I am able to relax and go work out. We moved to the country, and life is less convenient, but, we also have more time.
