Falling Hail

When balls of ice fall from the sky, it is called hail. This is hail falling onto the roof of a house.

Sometimes, it’s nice to sit inside and listen to the hail fall on the roof, especially if the roof is metal.

But sometimes, hail is large and dangerous. This size of hail, for example is dangerous for people to be in.

Hail can put dents into the hood of a car, which costs a lot of money to fix.

Sometimes hail can be so strong that it can break the windows of a car. Although most of the time, it is safe to drive in the hail, sometimes it’s better to not drive in the hail.

Most hail doesn’t cause damage to a car, or even a person. But in some places, it is smart to put a cover over your car to keep hail from causing damage.

But hail usually only lasts a few minutes before it stops. The ice melts, and most of the time it is gone in a short time.

And after all the hail melts, it looks like it just rained. Hail is very interesting.
