Clothes for Different Jobs
These are all coworkers.
They work together at an architecture office. At this office, the style of their clothes is called “casual”.
Everybody wears pants and tennis shoes.
Some people wear button up shirts.
And others wear regular shirts.
And some wear a jacket and a t-shirt.
But this is not the same for all jobs. Some jobs ask you to wear “business casual” clothing.
Botton up shirts or sport coats are "business casual” clothes.
Business casual can look like this.
Business casual can also look like this.
But still other jobs require even more professional clothes. Some jobs require workers to wear suits. This is called business attire.
There are many different colors of suits, but they are all similar.
The purpose of a suit is to look professional.
But, of course construction requires a different type of clothes: clothes for safety.
Construction workers also wear clothes they can get dirty.
Other people work from home. They sometimes wear pajamas.
They often wear a mix of pajamas and business casual.
